About Summer House
Summer House is a private inpatient detox facility offering medication-assisted detox in a welcoming, comfortable environment. The center’s aim is to deliver a comprehensive rehabilitation program with the support and tools patients need to recover. While clients go through detox under close medical supervision, they receive liquid medication in steadily reduced doses every four hours until withdrawal symptoms ease. Along with medication, patients also have the opportunity to speak with an on-site therapist to plan for ongoing treatment.
As a family-run center, Summer House focuses on creating a warm, home-like atmosphere and providing a wide range of amenities. Residents can stay in comfortable rooms with TV and WiFi, and they also have access to cell phones. The program includes several holistic options such as massage, acupuncture, Tai Chi, and yoga.
