About Map to Health
At Recovery Unplugged’s Fort Lauderdale facility, individuals have the opportunity to engage in a healing environment tailored to address various mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. With a focus on innovative, evidence-based treatment, the center provides around-the-clock support and a diverse array of therapies tailored to each person’s unique needs.
Recovery Unplugged recognizes that each mental health journey is distinct. Their treatment philosophy transcends traditional methods, focusing on uncovering the emotions that may have been suppressed for years. By integrating compassion with a personalized approach, the program pairs standard therapeutic practices with the powerful influence of music-assisted therapy, allowing clients to articulate their feelings and reconnect with their true selves, an aspect often overlooked in conventional treatment modalities.
Situated just a short distance from the beautiful Atlantic coast, Recovery Unplugged offers clients bright, contemporary living spaces with inviting communal areas and comfortable private rooms where individuals can truly relax. Whether they are boosting their spirits in the on-site fitness facility or enjoying a refreshing stroll outside, the center promotes a holistic approach to wellness encompassing emotional, physical, and spiritual dimensions.
Post-treatment, clients at Recovery Unplugged are never left to navigate life on their own. The alumni support team, consisting of peer support specialists, helps clients face the challenges of reintegration, whether that involves securing stable housing, rebuilding family connections, or reentering the workforce. Connections are maintained through weekly Zoom meetings and a wealth of online resources designed for ongoing support.
