Agape Treatment Center offers both residential and outpatient programs focused on substance use disorders, co-occurring (dual) diagnoses, and primary mental health needs. The center uses an organized, integrated treatment approach that adapts to each person’s situation and recovery targets. Depending on clinical needs, clients may participate in residential care, day treatment or partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient services, or general outpatient programming. Agape Treatment Center also has a detox facility in Port St. Lucie, helping individuals complete a safe withdrawal process before transitioning into residential or outpatient care. For clients receiving outpatient services, Agape Treatment Center provides treatment for primary mental health concerns at every level of care.
Treatment at Agape Treatment Center combines proven clinical methods with holistic supports, guided by experienced professionals in addiction care and mental health. Services may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), biofeedback, 12-Step meetings, and rapid response therapy. Each therapeutic plan is adjusted to match the client’s circumstances and diagnoses. Agape Treatment Center addresses a range of conditions, including substance addictions, sexual trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.
Agape Treatment Center also provides psychoeducation for clients and their families to improve understanding of addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention. Therapy is available in individual, group, and family formats across all care levels. When clinically appropriate, the center offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Holistic options at Agape include expressive therapy, yoga, and life skills development. Clients may also receive vocational and educational assessments, case management, assistance preparing for job interviews and college applications, and chances to join community events and volunteer opportunities.
During treatment, clients work on building healthy relationships, identifying and strengthening behavior patterns, understanding relapse risks, and reviewing how thoughts and actions influence outcomes. Agape Treatment Center also offers an optional faith-based recovery pathway centered on Christ. Alumni are encouraged to stay involved through regular meetings, helping them maintain connections with Agape Treatment Center and others in recovery.
