About The Beachcomber Recovery

For more than four decades, The Beachcomber has provided support for people seeking recovery from drug and alcohol addiction across South Florida and surrounding areas. Today, the center offers a full range of services, including detoxification, inpatient care, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), and outpatient treatment. The Beachcomber coordinates with both Florida-based and nationwide insurance providers. A low staff-to-client ratio allows the team to deliver more focused, individualized attention. Along with personalized clinical work, The Beachcomber develops thorough aftercare plans to support the right next steps after treatment.

At The Beachcomber, healing is centered on helping clients find calm and renewed perspective in Florida’s restorative setting. The program includes holistic therapies such as yoga, acupuncture, meditation, rapid resolution therapy, emotional freedom technique, and light-sound neurotherapy. Family support is also an important part of the recovery process. The center invites patients and their relatives to participate in its Family Program, which meets twice per week. During these sessions, family members learn about addiction and relapse prevention through psychoeducation and gain guidance on how to provide meaningful support.

Treatment at The Beachcomber blends one-on-one and group counseling, 12-Step meetings, and nutritious meals prepared by an on-site chef, while also allowing time for rest, reflection, and stress reduction. In addition to its core services, The Beachcomber can arrange outside chiropractic, massage, and physical therapy appointments when needed.
