About Lifeskills South Florida

Lifeskills Osceola House is a transitional living facility designed specifically for adults who are finishing residential treatment for substance use. The center helps residents regain independence through a consistent routine, educational opportunities, and support from qualified professionals. While working toward school, employment, or volunteer goals, clients strengthen recovery skills in a supportive, stable setting built to promote long-term progress.

The home operates around the clock with staff on site and connects residents to clinical, medical, and psychiatric services. Programming focuses on life skills instruction, coaching for independent living, and mentoring. Help with transportation is available for errands, appointments, and required meetings. After residents adjust and receive clinical clearance, they may also use bicycles or their own transportation to further build autonomy during recovery.

Housing includes private or semi-private rooms, daily housekeeping, and secure keypad entry. With a low resident-to-staff ratio, staff can provide individualized guidance. Participants can access day treatment (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP), along with supportive activities such as yoga, cooking classes, 12-step meetings, and nutrition-focused education. A shared Sunday meal, morning meditations, and community meetings reinforce structure and strengthen connections among residents.
