About Guardian Recovery

Immersion Recovery Center is a trusted provider of substance use disorder treatment, bringing more than twenty years of experience and delivering a full range of support for clients and their families. The center blends proven, evidence-based interventions with holistic practices to create a customized path to recovery for each individual. Program participants may take part in 12-Step facilitation, traditional counseling sessions, life skills development, recreational activities, yoga, and additional recovery-focused services. Immersion Recovery Center is part of Guardian Recovery.

Immersion Recovery provides medical detox, residential treatment, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), virtual participation, and aftercare planning through a structured three-stage model.

In Phase 1, the focus is medical detox, residential care, and clinical stabilization. Phase 2 builds momentum by engaging clients in the PHP, a full-day program where individuals may either return home or choose to live in a sober living setting. Phase 3 supports long-term transition with outpatient services and sober living options if desired.

The overall timeline may last up to a year, or be adjusted for a faster approach when clinically appropriate. How long a client stays in each stage is determined individually, based on progress and guidance from their clinical team. Across all care levels, clients receive evidence-based therapies such as motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).

Immersion Recovery includes family-focused programming, such as family workshops and family therapy, to help relatives become strong partners in the recovery process. Psychoeducational sessions and healing lectures offer insight, reassurance, and motivation for the whole family. These resources are available during residential treatment, PHP, and through Immersion’s outpatient programs. The center also offers comprehensive aftercare planning designed to support sustained recovery. Alumni continue participating in 12-Step meetings, individual therapy, and group therapy, and they host regular gatherings and recovery-friendly events to strengthen ongoing support. Immersion Recovery additionally provides a wide set of resources for people in early recovery.

Located in Delray Beach, Florida, Immersion Recovery Center offers shared and private bedrooms, therapy rooms, spacious common areas, a communal dining space, and a comfortable lounge for relaxation and connection. Clients can enjoy outdoor grilling at the barbecue area, play volleyball in the backyard, and attend movie nights in the living room. Holistic healing is supported through nutrition therapy, yoga therapy, and recreation therapy activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, and creative outlets including art and music.
