About Mile High Recovery Center

Mile High Recovery Center assists individuals in rebuilding their lives with long-term support. Clients receive individualized treatment regardless of the substance involved, with care tailored to meet them at their current point in recovery. Whether someone needs medical detox, added structure during early sobriety, or encouragement while they rebuild their everyday life, Mile High provides a flexible continuum of services that changes as progress is made. Although the clinical care is comprehensive, it’s the staff and their approach that truly set the center apart. Mile High Recovery was created with a single purpose: to accompany people through every phase of recovery for as long as they need. Beginning in 2016 as a single sober living home, it has expanded into a full range of treatment options, including detox, residential programs, outpatient care, and sober living. The team includes experienced professionals—many of whom are also in recovery—who apply empathy and real-life understanding to their work. Close ties to Denver’s LGBTQ recovery community, along with a strong alumni network, help strengthen support for all clients. From the moment clients arrive at Mile High, the environment feels less like a clinic and more like a community. Industrial brick walls, inviting natural light, and meaningful details—such as a pride flag and alumni milestones—help create a sense of optimism. Located in the heart of the city, clients benefit from the surrounding energy while also feeling part of a close-knit recovery family. Recovery support continues after treatment and grows over time. With their alumni app, clients can stay in touch with peers and staff from their phones. Alumni check in weekly to remain grounded, and monthly and quarterly events bring everyone together to exchange experiences and acknowledge milestones.
