About Guardian Recovery
CuraWest offers detox as well as short-term and residential programs for people seeking addiction treatment. A team of licensed nurses and other medical professionals is available around the clock to observe clients closely. When appropriate, CuraWest may use medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to help ease withdrawal symptoms and support a more comfortable transition. After completing detox, which may be provided as a stand-alone service, clients move into either short-term care or a longer residential rehab program. Throughout treatment, CuraWest combines evidence-based practices with holistic therapies to support whole-person recovery.
At the start, clients complete a detailed medical intake that considers their addiction history, family background, and other relevant factors. CuraWest also provides psychiatric evaluations to identify any co-occurring mental health conditions. Based on assessment results, personal preferences, and individual needs, the center customizes both detox and residential programming.
CuraWest provides trauma-informed therapy to help clients work through underlying trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Family involvement is available when desired, including family therapy sessions held on site or online, as well as family psychoeducation workshops. CuraWest also trains clients and their families in relapse prevention strategies, including learning about recovery, common triggers, and establishing healthy boundaries.
Located in downtown Denver, CuraWest allows clients to access nature as part of daily life. With scenic views, clients can participate in group hikes and spend time at nearby Botanical Gardens. Holistic offerings may include Reiki, yoga, and guided meditation. Most rooms are private, and the modern setting is designed to feel welcoming and supportive, helping clients stay focused on their healing.
