About Reset Summer Camp

Reset Summer Camp is an annual program created for teenagers and young adults who struggle with internet overuse. The center runs a residential digital detox during the summer, typically lasting around one month. The camp is especially suited for youth dealing with gaming, social media, or streaming-related habits tied to music and video. Reset Summer Camp focuses on helping participants rediscover enjoyable, meaningful experiences beyond the screen. Campers strengthen confidence through practical life-skill training as well as both one-on-one and group therapy. The team includes skilled professionals in youth development, clinical interns, registered nurses, and licensed mental health PhD specialists in private practice. Reset also holds a family weekend, allowing parents and other loved ones to join in shared learning activities.

At the start of the program, campers complete a three-week detox with no electronics, except for approved MP3 players. After the third week, they slowly return to electronic use, learning how to fit it into daily routines in a balanced, healthy way. Campers live in college-style dorms and share rooms with roommates, which encourages personal responsibility and accountability to one another. The daily structure supports a sense of purpose, respect, and teamwork. Activities include zip-line and high-ropes challenge courses, white-water rafting, surfing, wilderness hiking, and archery. When possible, participants join STEAM experiences led by visiting instructors in areas such as physics, theatre, music, art, and sports. To support long-term progress, Reset provides a tailored aftercare plan to help campers stay connected and apply the skills they learned during camp in everyday life.
