About Alsana Santa Barbara Outpatient

Alsana Santa Barbara - Outpatient is a treatment center focused on supporting people who face eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa, as well as other conditions that may occur at the same time. The center is guided by six principles designed to help clients work through their challenges. These principles include taking responsibility, using compassionate honesty, and always prioritizing the client. By following this approach, Alsana builds a motivated, dedicated team committed to assisting individuals who are struggling.

The center provides multiple outpatient options, including the possibility of optional housing arranged through a partner organization. Services include two-week winter intensives, virtual Telehealth, residential programming, day treatment, IOP, PHP, and programs that are vegan-friendly. Alsana also offers LGBTQ+ affirming support and includes alumni and family programming. Alsana uses its Adaptive Care Model to address clients’ needs across different areas of life, aiming to encourage healthy progress through medical care, nutrition, physical activity, supportive relationships, and therapy-focused programming.
