The Lotus Collaborative offers specialized, whole-person care for people of all genders ages 14 and older who are dealing with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma. The center operates in Santa Cruz and San Francisco and provides intensive outpatient programs (IOP), day treatment (PHP), and individual therapy in warm, home-like environments.
The program includes individual psychotherapy, somatic-based support, and workshops focused on different parts of trauma recovery. Depending on the level of care, schedules can range from 3 hours per day, three days a week to more intensive options of 6 to 7 hours per day, up to seven days per week. Although daily routines may differ, clients generally participate in both individual and group therapy, along with mindfulness practices, zen meditation, and nutritional counseling.
For mood and trauma support, The Lotus Collaborative offers an IOP designed to address depression, anxiety, and PTSD. This involves structured group therapy for about three hours each day. Sessions are offered virtually on weekday evenings, Monday through Friday. The team serves individuals of all genders who are 18 and older and live in California, combining the flexibility of remote treatment with the possibility of in-person sessions.
The eating disorder PHP at The Lotus Collaborative is for individuals aged 14 and older and includes programming tailored for adolescents and their families, as well as adults. With 5 to 7 hours of structured support each day, this level of care provides intensive treatment aimed at helping clients move forward in recovery and build the skills needed for more stable behaviors.
The eating disorder IOP provides more flexible intensive care, typically 3+ hours of structured group and individual support, offered 3 to 7 days per week. In this program, clients strengthen and use recovery skills in everyday life within a community centered on support and healing.
