About Casa Quetzal

Casa Quetzal is a residential recovery program for men, run by the Latino Commission. Located in San Francisco, California, it offers a bilingual approach to addiction treatment. For more than 30 years, the program has delivered holistic, trauma-informed support for people living with substance use disorders. Residents participate in individual and group therapy, receive life skills instruction, attend psychoeducational sessions, and take part in relapse prevention counseling, all aimed at helping each person move toward their own recovery objectives. The program is structured into four stages: the beginning, working as one, blooming transitioning, and movement with balance and integrity. These phases are intended to strengthen men’s focus on recovery, build practical coping skills, and prepare them for independence.
