Progress Foundation offers crisis-based residential care in San Francisco, Sonoma, and Napa counties. The center’s services are designed for people living with mental health conditions, frequently alongside substance use and/or physical health needs. Care is provided through discreet residential settings, creating a confidential, judgment-free space for stays of up to 2 weeks. With an intensive model of around-the-clock treatment, the staff focuses on stabilizing patients and working toward short-term recovery goals within a caring community.
Shrader House in San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury neighborhood provides 24-hour psychiatric residential treatment for adults 18 and older who are experiencing a psychiatric crisis. Since 1973, the center has welcomed voluntary admissions, including those dealing with co-occurring mental health disorders and substance use concerns. Through a structured, supportive environment, Shrader House helps individuals move through healing and recovery.
