About Ohlhoff Recovery Programs
For more than 60 years, Ohlhoff has delivered reliable addiction treatment for adults recovering from substance use and chemical dependency. Ohlhoff offers several levels of care to support each individual in moving toward recovery. The Skip Byron Primary Program (SBPP), based on the historic Henry Ohlhoff House campus in San Francisco, provides up to 30 days of substance use treatment. This program is designed to help men and women in the early phase of recovery build stability, and it runs around the clock, with clients residing on campus throughout their treatment. The Henry Ohlhoff House Men’s Residential Program and the separate Women’s Recovery Program are long-term residential options for adults dealing with alcohol or drug dependency. Both programs create a secure, structured setting where clients participate in evening groups and continue following a consistent work schedule.
Ohlhoff also provides outpatient services with multiple levels of care for adults, adolescents, and their families. The intensive outpatient, outpatient, continuing care, and teen intervention programs are structured to give clients the ability to stay engaged in treatment without disrupting work or school.
On the Henry Ohlhoff campus, clients receive gender-specific housing in comfortable accommodations. The mansion is within walking distance of public transportation and includes an industrial-sized kitchen, several shared spaces, and multiple bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The Ohlhoff Recovery Program is a strong choice for those transitioning back into everyday life and looking for a steady, supportive environment.
