About Henry Ohlhoff House

The Henry Ohlhoff House provides long-term residential rehabilitation programs separated by gender for adults dealing with substance use disorders. The men’s program helps participants keep up with work responsibilities while attending structured weekend and evening activities. The approach is based on a constructive, peer-focused philosophy, and it incorporates evidence-based treatment methods. The women’s program supports clients as they transition back to employment, education, or volunteer roles. For both tracks, participants are required to stay in the program for at least 3 to 6 months to support long-term recovery. Each client receives a minimum of one individual counseling session weekly, along with two peer group sessions each week, vocational support, and periodic random drug and alcohol screenings. During the program, clients also take part in a spiritual weekend retreat held off-site. After graduation, clients can access aftercare groups for life, attend on-site 12-step meetings, and continue with additional support resources.
