About HealthRIGHT 360

HealthRIGHT 360 runs more than 50 programs across 11 counties in California, offering full-scale treatment for individuals and families dealing with substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and related co-occurring conditions.

Within HealthRIGHT 360, the Walden House program includes three residential stepdown sites on San Francisco’s Treasure Island, one of which is the Gateview location. While residents stay at the Walden House stepdown setting, they also attend a separate outpatient program focused on either mental health or substance use. That outpatient component may be provided through HealthRIGHT 360 or through another approved treatment provider.

Walden House residential stepdowns commonly support people who are experiencing homelessness, are involved with the justice system, are LGBTQ+, are young adults, have a history of injection drug use, and/or are living with HIV/AIDS.

The Walden House program follows an abstinence-based approach, although HealthRIGHT 360 offers additional programs that are based on the harm reduction model.
