About HealthRIGHT 360
HealthRIGHT 360 runs more than 50 programs across 11 counties in California, offering full-spectrum care to individuals and families facing substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and situations involving both.
Within HealthRIGHT 360, the Walden House program includes three residential stepdown sites on San Francisco’s Treasure Island, one of which is the Northpoint location. Residents remain in the Walden House stepdown setting while also participating in a distinct outpatient program focused on mental health and/or substance use. The outpatient option may be provided through another HealthRIGHT 360 program or through an outside provider.
Walden House residential stepdowns commonly support people who are experiencing homelessness, have involvement with the justice system, identify as LGBTQ+, are young adults, have a history of injection drug use, or are living with HIV/AIDS.
While Walden House follows an abstinence-based approach, HealthRIGHT 360 offers additional programs that are based on the harm reduction model.
