About Father Alfred Center
The program is designed for men aged 18 and older who do not have an income and who are struggling with a substance use disorder. This full-year residential option is provided at no cost and helps participants access evidence-based individual counseling, spiritual support, peer counseling, technology services, job training, psychiatric services, case management, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when it is needed. To take part, applicants must satisfy the eligibility conditions listed on the center’s website. The staff includes trained professionals who are equipped to address any co-occurring conditions that may appear along with the substance use disorder. Participants receive broad support that covers medical, legal, vocational, and educational needs. Throughout treatment, all clients are expected to join the workforce training program, which prepares them for both short-term and long-term employment. After completing the program, clients must enroll in the alumni program, where they can take part in ongoing activities intended to strengthen long-term recovery.
