About Riverside University - Day Reporting Center Riverside

Across the Inland Empire, Riverside University Health System (RUHS) operates as a comprehensive health care system that provides outpatient services for individuals with mental health conditions. RUHS holds accreditation from both the Joint Commission and CARF.

Its outpatient offerings serve multiple life stages, including children, transitional age youth (16–25), adults in midlife, and seniors 60 and older, with interventions designed for each group’s needs. A key focus is early intervention, highlighted by the Set-4-School program for children ages 0–5 and the belief that early developmental support can make a major difference. RUHS may also meet clients in their homes, particularly for older adults. Additional specialized services include support for pregnant women and parents, as well as programming for people involved in the criminal justice system.

To reduce barriers to care, RUHS provides translation services across its programs, including American Sign Language (ASL). Children up to age 5 can participate in treatment alongside their parents or guardians. RUHS locations, including the Hemet Family Care Center, are wheelchair accessible.

RUHS follows a “whatever-it-takes” approach, delivering individualized assistance such as therapy, housing support, and training in daily living skills to promote stability and sustained recovery. Treatment may include medication support, multidimensional family therapy (MDFT), and close coordination with primary care providers. Clients can review treatment notes during and after care through the MyChart app.
