About Community Human Services Sonoma House

The women-only rehabilitation center provides sober, drug- and alcohol-free transitional housing for women moving from residential treatment toward independent living. To reside here, residents must maintain at least 30 days of sobriety and participate in ongoing outpatient care or self-help programming. The center is staffed and available around the clock, with additional office support Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Program costs differ depending on sliding scale options, and the facility locations are kept confidential within Monterey County.

Within the program, residents live in supportive group housing that encourages peer accountability and long-term recovery. Participants receive links to outpatient treatment and other recovery resources, as well as referrals that may support employment and educational goals. By connecting women to services that reinforce sobriety and personal development, the program helps residents make consistent progress.
