About Alsana Monterey PHP/IOP
Alsana’s eating disorder services are designed for adults who want to stay independent, while taking their recovery seriously. Clients can choose from flexible program options, allowing them to concentrate on healing and still manage responsibilities such as working, attending school, and spending time with family and friends.
The partial hospitalization program includes 8 hours of participation each day, along with 1 weekly individual counseling session, 1 weekly nutrition session, 1 weekly psychiatry session, and 4 group sessions per day. The intensive outpatient program is structured with a lighter schedule, offering 4 hours of programming daily, 1 weekly individual counseling session, 1 weekly nutrition session, and 2 group sessions per day.
Alsana considers its outpatient programs well suited for individuals who show early signs of an eating disorder. They emphasize that addressing the disorder before it worsens can lead to stronger outcomes. Outpatient support is helpful not only for early intervention, but also for relapse prevention and ongoing recovery. Alsana also provides 2-week programs for clients who are currently relapsing.
