Since 1996, Clementine Calabasas has welcomed adolescent girls ages 11–17 to a 6-bed program in Malibu Canyon designed to support recovery from eating disorders and other related conditions. The center focuses on more than improving how clients relate to food; it also provides education that helps them better understand disordered thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. Clementine Calabasas works to reach the root of these challenges and offers a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Processing Therapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). Each client receives an individualized nutrition plan, along with guidance that strengthens practical cooking knowledge and skills.

The program also includes exercise and movement to foster a safer relationship with the body through activities such as nature walks, dance classes, yoga, weight training, and mindfulness practices.
