About Gateway Recovery Center
The residential program at Harbor Recovery Center (HRC) is designed to help clients move toward individualized goals rather than working within a fixed time frame. The focus is on restoring personal control, strengthening motivation, and supporting long-term, sustainable recovery. Programming blends classic 12-step approaches with treatments backed by research. In addition, several team members are trained in specialized methods such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and emotionally focused therapy (EFT).
Comprehensive Support and Whole-Person Recovery
Beyond primary clinical care, HRC provides extra resources aimed at holistic healing. These include parenting and anger management classes, financial and educational support groups, plus yoga and practical life-skills training. Clients participate in recovery meetings both on-site and in the community to reinforce belonging and support. Each person is supported by a counselor and a recovery coach, who help coordinate a tailored plan and guide progress throughout treatment.
Transitional Living Program
Harbor House delivers structured assistance for people in addiction recovery, combining therapy with life skills development and ongoing accountability. The program includes individual, group, and family counseling, with the goal of rebuilding stability and encouraging active participation in a recovery community. Ongoing check-ins and urine screenings are used to monitor commitment and support continued sobriety.
