About Gateway Recovery Center

The Gateway Recovery Center, a division of Harbor House, Inc., provides residential rehabilitation in a calm, supportive setting. When a woman is admitted, she is assigned a customized treatment plan that targets substance use as well as any co-occurring mental health conditions. The program includes both one-on-one and group therapy sessions designed to strengthen coping skills and promote lasting recovery and positive personal change.

Gateway Recovery Center delivers full-spectrum addiction care by combining a traditional 12-step framework with widely used, research-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness practices. Care is person-centered, with services tailored to each individual and to the presence of co-occurring disorders. Through structured therapy, transitional living options, and ongoing recovery support, the center helps women build sustainable change and continued growth.

In addition, the center offers specialized programming for pregnant women and mothers with young children, including a 60–75 day track designed around the needs of mothers. Emphasizing holistic care, the program provides individualized counseling, life skills development, parenting education, and childcare support, helping mothers heal, recover, and establish a strong foundation for long-term well-being.
