About AK Add Rehabilitation Services inc

Alaska Addiction Rehabilitation Services (AARS) is a medically supervised Level 3.1 residential facility that provides low-intensity care. The center’s client-focused approach includes round-the-clock assistance while individuals work through substance use treatment. AARS applies a 12-Step framework and encourages each resident to develop and follow their own personal path to spirituality. Throughout the program, people have access to individual counseling, group therapy, recreational activities, and work therapy within a supportive setting. Beyond clinical services, participants attend three cafeteria-style meals each day. A licensed nutrition specialist designs the menu, and the team accounts for each person’s specific dietary needs. During the day, clients may also select from a variety of snacks and beverages, including fresh fruits and vegetables. Stable accommodation is also an important part of the recovery process. AARS offers additional transitional housing for graduates of the residential program. This transitional housing is separated by gender and includes shared bedrooms with one roommate, designed to feel comfortable and safe.
