About Ellie Mental Health Birmingham-Hoover

Ellie began in 2015 and has grown into a network of clinics and franchises throughout the country. From the start, it has aimed to reduce the stigma around mental health, using humor to help lower barriers and encourage people to seek support.

The Birmingham, AL center offers caring counseling in a welcoming, judgment-free environment for clients who want a safe place to share what they’re going through. Therapists here work with people across the lifespan, from children through older adults, and can provide services to individuals, couples, and families either in person or via virtual sessions. Treatment is trauma-informed, and each therapist draws on multiple methods and clinical approaches based on the needs of the person.

The Ellie Birmingham-Hoover location is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on weekends from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
