About Vin Baker Recovery

Established by Vin Baker, a four-time NBA All-Star and gold medalist, this rehabilitation center offers people facing substance use disorders the chance to receive flexible, evidence-based outpatient care. Treatment plans are tailored to each individual’s needs, aiming to strengthen independence and support sustained sobriety over the long term. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for clients with opioid or alcohol use disorders. To participate in MAT, clients must attend outpatient counseling. For those who require a higher level of structure, an intensive outpatient program (IOP) is also available. Peer support is offered to all clients, and peer support workers help clients navigate recovery by advocating for them, sharing resources and practical skills, fostering community and connections, leading recovery groups, and mentoring them while setting and tracking goals. Vin Baker additionally works with local jails and correctional facilities to help initiate services and ensure continued care for individuals who are incarcerated.
