About Rawhide Inc

Rawhide Youth and Family Counseling helps teenagers cope with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, and suicidal thoughts. Counselors use a whole-person method that addresses more than feelings and behavior, considering social, spiritual, and thinking-related needs as well. Through a supportive, trusting relationship, teens learn to handle overwhelming emotions and move toward a healthier, more stable future.

The center also involves families, since mental health challenges can impact everyone at home. Family therapy emphasizes improving communication, setting healthy boundaries, and strengthening relationships. Rawhide offers counseling in schools throughout Wisconsin, helping students access support during the school day.

Depending on each teen’s needs, services may include individual counseling, group therapy, or equine-assisted therapy. Group sessions give young people a chance to relate to peers dealing with similar struggles. Equine therapy uses interactions with horses to develop confidence and greater self-awareness. Across all programs, teens receive a structured setting to gain insight, practice coping strategies, and build healthier habits.
