About Amanda's House

Amanda’s House, situated in Green Bay, Wisconsin, was established by a mother in memory of her daughter who tragically passed away due to an opioid overdose. Jolly and her daughter, Amanda, had envisioned starting a sober living facility through the Mandolin Foundation, which they cherished before Amanda's untimely death in 2020. Determined to honor their vision, Jolly moved forward with the initiative to create a nurturing environment for other women and their children during their recovery journey.

Amanda’s House accommodates 10 women and 3 children, with a monthly fee of $400, and an additional $100 for each child. Residents are encouraged to participate in necessary therapeutic activities and manage their external commitments while being surrounded by a supportive community of women. The center provides 12-Step recovery meetings, mindfulness workshops, life skills training, and other resources. Women are required to engage in work or volunteer for a minimum of 20 hours each week, and they can reside at Amanda’s House for a duration of up to 2 years.
