About Rawhide Inc

Rawhide Youth and Family Counseling helps adolescents navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, and suicidal ideation. Sessions are led by licensed therapists who use a whole-person approach, addressing not only emotions and actions, but also social, spiritual, and thinking-related needs. Through a supportive, trusting relationship, teens learn to understand overwhelming feelings and move toward a healthier, more stable future. The center also provides support for families, since mental health challenges can impact everyone at home. Family therapy centers on improving communication, setting clear boundaries, and strengthening relationships. In addition, Rawhide offers counseling in schools throughout Wisconsin, helping students receive care during the school day. Depending on each teen’s situation, services may include individual counseling, group therapy, or equine-assisted therapy. Group therapy gives young people the chance to connect with peers who share similar experiences. Equine-assisted therapy uses guided work with horses to foster confidence and self-awareness. Whether in groups or one-on-one, the programs create a consistent, structured setting for reflection, learning, and building effective coping skills.
