About LifeStance Health NE 51st Street Vancouver

LifeStance Health operates multiple sites and provides access to a national team of licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, and nurse practitioners. Care is offered through both in-person visits and virtual private sessions, covering a wide range of mental health and substance use concerns. They treat conditions such as mental illness, process addictions, grief and major life changes, postpartum depression, and related issues. The center is also well prepared to provide transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), an option often recommended for individuals who have not had success with other depression treatments or medications.

LifeStance works with highly regarded clinicians who focus on a broad spectrum of diagnoses and adapt care to the needs of clients across age groups. Services address common mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Support is also available for substance use and alcohol or drug addictions, as well as process addictions such as eating disorders and hoarding. For adolescents, they offer specialized support for school-avoidance. Care may include gender-specific or specialty programming, such as treatment for men’s or women’s concerns, pain management, somatoform disorders, psychosis, postpartum depression and anxiety, couples therapy, grief support, insomnia, and behavioral challenges in children.

At LifeStance, individualized care is coordinated by a multidisciplinary group that includes board-certified professionals and social workers. Treatment plans may incorporate approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based stress reduction, solution-focused therapy, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Depending on the client’s situation, additional research-supported methods like narrative therapy and play therapy may be used, particularly for children and adolescents.

Patients and families can access adult psychiatry services, child and adolescent psychiatry or therapy, as well as group or family therapy when appropriate. The center also supports new parents who are adjusting to life changes and may experience mental health symptoms or sleep difficulties. Alongside therapy, LifeStance offers neuropsychological testing, psychological testing, and evaluations. Full mental health services are available Monday through Friday, for both virtual and in-person appointments, and LifeStance accepts most major insurance plans.
