About Lakeside Milam Puyallup Outpatient
Lakeside-Milam Recovery Centers (LMRC) delivers addiction and mental health treatment across nine locations in Western Washington, providing a complete range of services for people who want support in a caring, community-based environment. The Puyallup outpatient clinic, located near Seattle, offers comprehensive clinical evaluations, an intensive outpatient program, and an individualized continuing care plan tailored to each client. At LMRC in Puyallup, the outpatient services are intended for men and women who do not need inpatient residential treatment or medically supervised withdrawal management. Each participant receives a plan based on their specific goals and needs, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is available for mild to moderate alcohol or opioid dependence. The program also features life skills workshops, group and individual counseling, and case management, with a significant focus on educating and involving families. Clients are encouraged to take part in 12-Step recovery to strengthen long-term peer support. Since 1983, Lakeside-Milam Recovery Centers has helped more than 100,000 people, building a strong alumni network. The center holds a no-cost alumni dinner with a guest speaker each quarter. There is also an annual summer picnic with meals, games, face painting, raffles, and live music. Ongoing connection is supported through private Facebook groups and an alumni app. LMRC is CARF-accredited and works with most major insurance providers.
