About Thira Health

Thira Health is a specialized treatment program designed to support women, teen girls, and gender non-conforming people who are dealing with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, self-harm, and related mental health concerns. With direction from a dedicated team of specialists, Thira focuses on the distinct needs of women and girls through evidence-based therapies, including approaches grounded in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). The caring staff features licensed experts in areas such as art therapy, nutrition counseling, and additional services, helping each person work toward meaningful progress.

Thira Health offers residential treatment as well as different levels of outpatient care, including morning and evening intensive outpatient (IOP) programs and partial hospitalization (PHP). The morning IOP is well-suited for adults and teens who need help with anxiety and depression while still managing school, work, or family responsibilities. The PHP program delivers a higher level of structured support for eating disorders and runs daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Inside the center, there are spaces for group therapy alongside smaller, quieter rooms for one-on-one sessions. During downtime, clients can use the recreation room, which includes a TV and comfortable seating. Thira Health’s goal is to create a calm, supportive environment where girls and women can heal in a way that fits their individual pace.
