Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center in Bellevue provides adults with a structured intensive outpatient program (IOP) and a day treatment program (PHP) for mood, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions.
At Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center, clients receive multidisciplinary support from a team led by internationally recognized specialists with a total of 200 years of combined experience. The IOP runs on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm and includes one weekly individual therapy session plus group-based programming, such as process groups and skill-focused groups. The PHP schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, designed to resemble a typical work week while helping participants build long-term recovery tools in a supportive and secure setting.
With guidance from Pathlight’s compassionate staff, clients learn to better understand their thoughts and feelings and how they show up in the body through evidence-based treatments and supportive complementary approaches, including meditation, yoga, and mindfulness. For trauma-related disorders, the center uses a form of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) that incorporates exposure and response prevention, along with behavioral activation, to reduce patterns of learned avoidance and the anxiety and fear that can follow a traumatic experience. Pathlight also provides acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help clients move toward a meaningful, values-driven life while making room for the realities of pain and discomfort that come with everyday living.
To strengthen each person’s recovery process, the clinical team works alongside any existing outpatient providers to review treatment history and goals, and meets weekly to share progress updates. When a client does not already have outpatient support, Pathlight clinicians can arrange referrals to therapists and psychiatrists. Care continues after treatment as well: the team develops an individualized discharge plan and provides aftercare options and alumni support programs to help sustain progress beyond discharge.
