About Burlington United Methodist Fam Servs Beckley Campus

Burlington United Methodist Family Services Beckley Campus supports youth ages 11–17 who are dealing with behavioral and emotional difficulties. The center follows a whole-person, coordinated team model aimed at strengthening mental health, spiritual well-being, and behavioral stability. A key focus is preparing adolescents to reintegrate into their communities and return to their home environment with the skills they need.

Treatment begins with evaluating each person’s unique strengths and needs. Programming includes both individual and group therapies, structured behavioral management, and hands-on learning activities. Through these services, staff work to encourage healthier choices, reduce and replace harmful behaviors, and promote long-term wellness and successful community reintegration.

In addition, the Beckley Campus provides a foster care program for children and teens from birth through age 20, with expertise in cases involving abuse and neglect. The center also administers Right From the Start, a free statewide home visitation program for new mothers, and Social Necessities Services, which oversees family visitations while offering parenting education.
