Mission Connection fulfills a compassionate, research-informed clinical mission through a combination of an online platform and in-person outpatient services. Through their Virginia telehealth and outpatient options, Mission Connection helps people gain access to mental health support. The program enables clients to reach their care team in the most convenient way for them, at the right time and in the right setting.
Mission Connection begins with thorough assessments to better understand each client’s symptoms, personal history, current difficulties, and existing strengths. Based on this information, the clinical team builds individualized treatment plans designed around what clients can draw on and what they need to work through. They provide care for primary mental health concerns as well as co-occurring challenges.
Mission Connection is supported by a multidisciplinary team that offers structured daily group therapy led by licensed therapists, weekly psychiatric services, medication management, and weekly one-on-one therapy. During individual sessions, clients work with clinicians to create and carry out a person-centered plan aligned with their goals. The team draws on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SBFT). Clients also participate in life skills training and psychoeducation.
Mission Connection delivers mental health treatment that aligns with clients’ preferences and schedules. With virtual telehealth, recovery can happen from the comfort of home, improving access to care. For those who need more intensive support, clients may select an on-site outpatient program. This option includes multiple days each week and can be adjusted to meet specific recovery needs. Throughout the process, the caring clinical team provides guidance and frequently collaborates to keep each plan personalized and current.
Also confirm the facility is licensed by Virginia (this facility reports accreditation). If you are withdrawing from alcohol or benzodiazepines, ask about medical detox; do not stop suddenly on your own.
Mission Connection did not report which payment types it accepts. If you have Medicaid, ask whether the facility accepts your Virginia Medicaid plan or can refer you to one that does. Most private plans must cover substance use treatment on terms comparable to other medical care under federal parity law.
