About New Roads Behavioral Health

New Roads Behavioral Health offers support for substance use disorders and a range of challenging psychiatric conditions, including borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety, depression, and others. Care is provided through several treatment intensities, guided by individualized care plans. These levels may include residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), general outpatient, and psychiatric outpatient services. New Roads operates across three separate properties in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, and clients are assigned to one of three programs. PATH serves young men with a dual diagnosis focus, WORTH is designed for women and centers on dialectical behavioral therapy, and NORTH focuses on preparing individuals for the transition into sober living. Treatment approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and 12-Step facilitation.

New Roads Behavioral Health also provides comfortable, gender-specific living arrangements. The center offers multiple recreational amenities, including a basketball court, volleyball courts, billiards, ping pong, and foosball. Recreation is scheduled three times per week, with activities such as movie outings, bowling, hiking, and other group events.
