About Journey Treatment Center

Journey Treatment Center helps adults dealing with substance use and mental health difficulties through a range of services, including residential treatment, medically supervised detox, day programs (PHP), and intensive outpatient care. Many programs run for as long as 90 days and are led by trained specialists who have personal experience with recovery. The overall goal is to help clients strengthen their mental, physical, and emotional well-being through a stable, supportive setting.

Treatment at Journey Treatment Center is based on proven therapeutic methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), EMDR, and motivational enhancement therapy (MET). These approaches are designed to support clients in regulating emotions, changing unhelpful thought patterns, and learning practical coping strategies. Alongside traditional care, the center offers holistic options like reiki, fitness activities, and 12-Step involvement to encourage healing across the whole person.

Every day at Journey Treatment Center includes both individual and group counseling, wellness-focused activities, and creative programs such as music therapy at Fit to Recover and hip-hop dance classes at Dance Tech Studios. As clients participate in structured routines and consistent guidance, they build confidence, strengthen healthy habits, and restore supportive relationships. With ongoing therapeutic involvement, they develop the skills needed to handle everyday challenges as they move forward after treatment.
