About HMHI Downtown Behavioral Health Clinic

As part of the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics, the Huntsman Mental Health Institute Downtown Behavioral Health Clinic (HMHI Downtown) offers outpatient care for people of all ages. It serves a wide range of mental health and substance use needs. The clinic is located near I-15, with parking available on-site, and bus routes 455 and 470 run within about a 15-minute walk. HMHI accepts most major private insurance plans and Medicaid.
