About Corner Canyon Health Centers

Corner Canyon Health Centers (Corner Canyon) supports people dealing with mental health challenges through a full spectrum of evaluations, therapeutic approaches, and modern clinical options. The program also focuses on treating conditions that occur alongside substance use disorders and behavioral addictions. Each person receives an individualized care plan based on detailed clinical assessments and genetic testing tailored to their diagnosis and specific needs. After completing residential care, clients may step down into partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services while staying in Corner Canyon’s transitional living home.

At Corner Canyon, treatment is organized around four core elements: assessment, innovative care, brain-based interventions, and transition planning. The center offers medical, psychological, and psychiatric assessments, and pairs them with evidence-driven brain-focused treatments such as ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, stellate ganglion block injections, neurofeedback, and nutritional psychiatry to support healing across mind and body. For the center’s six-week ketamine-assisted program, eligible participants receive a ketamine session followed by a one-on-one therapy meeting to process what they experience.

Clients work with the center through weekly individual therapy and group therapy. The therapeutic toolkit includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), accelerated resolution therapy (ART), and equine-assisted therapy. Alongside these, clients can access holistic options including mindfulness meditation and music therapy. Corner Canyon is committed to an inclusive environment for LGBTQIA+ individuals, offering a welcoming setting where clients can live with others who share their gender identity.

Corner Canyon’s trauma-informed approach is designed for complex trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as other mental health concerns such as obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), mood disorders, anxiety disorders, suicidal ideation, and personality disorders. With the center located near the Wasatch Mountains, clients also benefit from seasonal recreational opportunities. After residential treatment, services continue seamlessly through outpatient programs, including flexible partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) and intensive outpatient programs (IOPs). PHP participants are expected to live in Corner Canyon’s 15-bed transitional living home.
