About Utah Family Therapy
The rehabilitation center focuses on treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and compulsive issues such as OCD and pornography addiction. It provides outpatient services, including individual, couples, family, and child therapy, along with intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Treatment is designed for a range of ages, from children and teenagers aged 13-17 to young adults and adults, with options for both in-person and virtual sessions. The healing programs are typically structured to occur four days a week over a span of 12 to 16 weeks.
The therapists employ a trauma-informed and connection-focused methodology that is rooted in empathy. They utilize evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), brainspotting, internal family systems (IFS), and exposure therapy. The center strives to create a supportive and stigma-free atmosphere where clients are recognized by name and guided through collaborative care, with sessions customized to their unique challenges and aspirations.
In addition to general therapy, they offer specialized programs that include various processing groups and support for LGBTQ+ individuals. Youth and adolescent services are provided through play-centered child therapy and parenting guidance. Online therapy options are also available to ensure accessibility for those unable to attend in person. The center accepts numerous insurance plans and offers a Good Faith Estimate for clients opting for self-payment.
