About More Than Rehab
More Than Rehab provides a complete continuum of care across multiple locations in Texas. The women’s housing program is designed specifically for women dealing with drug or alcohol addiction, offering short-term residential support that is followed by long-term outpatient treatment. The program is led by women, for women, in a secure and comfortable setting that promotes healing and minimizes distractions, helping residents build strong peer connections. The women’s housing option works closely with the center’s intensive outpatient programs, allowing staff to coordinate care while clients remain in a safe, supportive home environment. Depending on each person’s circumstances, the level of care may include partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), or general outpatient services with continued support.
More Than Rehab also follows a social model approach, focused on helping clients re-enter everyday life with confidence and stability in recovery. Services are tailored to individual needs and may include holistic and faith-based practices, grounded in the view that addiction is a disease. Programming can include yoga, spiritual development, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), life skills, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), family therapy, medication-assisted therapy (MAT), as well as group and individual counseling, offered at an accessible cost.
For some clients, treatment can begin with medical detox and inpatient rehabilitation, then progress into a structured outpatient plan that may involve sober living or housing supports, including women’s housing. Within the housing setting, residents may have access to features such as a swimming pool, meditation room, shared bedrooms, and time in nature. Throughout the process, clients receive both medical and faith-based professional support.
More Than Rehab holds Joint and LegitScript accreditation and works with a variety of public and private insurance plans. The center also accepts TRICARE and provides guidance and resources for military members and veterans.
