About Rise Inspire Academy

Rise Inspire Academy is a recovery high school created to help students who are working through substance use disorders. Based in San Antonio, Texas, it delivers an integrated program that blends classroom instruction with ongoing recovery resources. The learning experience focuses on health and wellness, building self-awareness and personal goals, engaging in community service, and developing leadership skills, offering students a well-rounded path for growth.

Because recovery comes with specific challenges during adolescence, Rise Inspire Academy provides customized recovery plans. Students are supported through a coordinated group of educators and recovery specialists, allowing the school to respond to each individual’s circumstances. This individualized support helps students succeed academically while also strengthening long-term recovery.

A defining feature of Rise Inspire Academy is its partnership between the Inspire Charter School District and the nonprofit organization Rise Recovery. Together, they bring academic strengths and consistent recovery-focused care to students. The academy also builds a supportive peer community where students with shared experiences can encourage one another during the early stages of recovery.
