About Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center San Antonio

Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center in San Antonio offers outpatient options for teens and adults dealing with mood, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions, including an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and a day treatment program (PHP). At Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center, clients receive coordinated care led by respected professionals. The IOP and virtual offerings can include up to 11 hours of structured programming to help clients feel supported throughout their recovery. The PHP runs five days per week and provides seven hours of programming each day, creating a routine similar to the standard work week while focusing on building recovery skills that last. With the guidance of Pathlight’s caring team, participants strengthen their understanding of how their minds and bodies work through evidence-based treatment and supportive practices such as meditation, yoga, and mindfulness. For trauma-related disorders, Pathlight emphasizes therapies including cognitive behavioral approaches, exposure and response prevention, and behavioral activation to reduce avoidance behaviors and ease anxiety and fear that can follow a traumatic experience. Pathlight also incorporates acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help clients move toward a meaningful, fulfilling life while learning to cope with the inevitable difficulties that come with it.
