About The Meadows Outpatient Center - Houston

The Meadows Outpatient Center provides care for addiction, trauma, mental health concerns, and co-occurring conditions through an 8-week intensive outpatient program (IOP). The Meadows Model combines cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), group-based therapy, neurofeedback, somatic experiencing, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), 12-Step principles, and a wellness focus. Participants attend 15 to 20 hours of on-site treatment services each week, with scheduling available during both the day and evening.

The clinical team is trained in Post-Induction Therapy (PIT) and receives in-depth hands-on instruction aimed at effectively addressing trauma. The Meadows uses advanced, evidence-informed approaches to help patients work through the underlying causes of trauma and addictive disorders within a supportive, compassionate environment. The program emphasizes building the strength to meet painful realities, process grief and loss, recover from emotional trauma, and take responsibility for one’s emotions, actions, and ongoing recovery.

In addition, The Meadows delivers its intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) through a convenient and flexible virtual format, making it possible to receive care without having to leave home.

The Meadows is accredited by the Joint Commission and works with most major insurance plans.
