About Heights Treatment
The Heights Houston provides tailored outpatient treatment for substance use and behavioral addictions, as well as mental health conditions and co-occurring disorders. Programs combine scientifically supported approaches with complementary therapies, helping clients receive modern, high-quality care. With an emphasis on trauma-informed treatment and mental wellness, The Heights Treatment team works with each person to uncover and address the underlying drivers of addiction. The Heights Houston also supports recovery from love and sex addiction, technology addiction, and gambling addiction. By pairing evidence-based methods with holistic wellness practices, the center creates individualized treatment plans from start to finish.
The Heights Houston offers a 90-day individualized intensive outpatient program (IIP) that includes sober living through Transcend Living, along with guidance from a recovery mentor provided by Transcend Mentoring. Clients are also transported from their sober living residence to treatment. Across its outpatient services, individuals participate in 1-on-1 counseling, neurofeedback, eye movement therapy (EMDR), and mindfulness-based therapy. For people needing less intensive levels of care, The Heights provides Day Treatment (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and traditional outpatient programming. Its mental health offerings address conditions such as depression, anxiety, and trauma.
A trauma-focused, dual-diagnosis approach supports full, long-term healing by treating the whole person behind addiction. The Heights uses a multidisciplinary team to keep treatment plans personalized, practical, and flexible as clients progress. Each client is also paired with a family therapist to help repair and strengthen relationships impacted by addiction, and a personal recovery mentor further supports the depth of care. The Heights Treatment Center operates two locations, one in Los Angeles, California and the other in Houston, Texas. Both facilities are conveniently near major city areas and are designed to feel modern, comfortable, and upscale. Outpatient services and supportive living are intended to serve as a step-down from inpatient care or to provide thorough treatment without disrupting the demanding schedules of working professionals, parents, and students. In each area, nearby sober living homes offer a safe place to stay during outpatient treatment.
