About ADAPT Programs
Across different sites in the Houston region, ADAPT Programs delivers a range of outpatient detox and treatment options for people dealing with substance use issues and mental health conditions that occur at the same time. The Beaumont office provides an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults with addiction or substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, as well as an IOP specifically designed for adolescents.
The IOP at ADAPT Programs is organized and supportive, combining individual therapy, family sessions, and group counseling. Patients and their loved ones can take part in addiction education, relapse prevention groups, and access community recovery resources. Participants in the program attend three evenings each week for four-hour sessions led by qualified addiction specialists.
ADAPT Programs focuses on helping clients return to everyday life through individualized discharge planning that is thorough and specific to each person. Ongoing care options and community support are also arranged according to the client’s circumstances and needs.
ADAPT Programs also offers targeted outpatient care for teens and adolescents with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Youth typically receive about 10 hours of treatment weekly in a structured setting that encourages positive peer relationships and recovery. Programming includes individual, group, and family counseling, educational sessions, 12-step meetings, relapse prevention planning, and activities that support spiritual awareness.
