About Eudaimonia Recovery Homes Austin (Women's Sober Living)

Eudaimonia Recovery Homes in Austin provides structured, low-cost sober living for women, helping residents rebuild their lives while transitioning back into the community. The center operates two locations in Austin and accepts women, including pregnant women, but does not provide housing for children. Before a person can move into the facility, they must remain sober for at least 30 days.

Each home includes a house manager who lives on-site and the program defines clear expectations for residents. Participants must complete frequent drug and alcohol testing, at least twice per week, attend a required number of 12-Step meetings, and follow Eudaimonia’s three-phase program. Every phase focuses on specific goals, and when residents complete a goal they earn added responsibilities or rewards. Residents are expected to attend three weekly meetings, and those under 25 must attend an extra weekly meeting, such as College Students in Recovery (CSR).

In addition to sober living, Eudaimonia offers an intensive outpatient program that includes group sessions three times per week for an added fee. The homes allow residents to have a vehicle, and the location is within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, and other nearby businesses. Public transportation is also available, and residents may remain in the sober living program for as long as they need.

Eudaimonia works with Measure Act Prevent (MAP) to deliver personalized peer support through recovery support specialists. PRSS services are available beginning at admission to the sober living program. The support is provided for 90 days, with the option to extend use for a year or longer. Services include an initial treatment profile, weekly and bi-weekly support sessions, access to live recovery support services 24/7, and family sessions twice per month with MAP.
