ReVIDA Recovery Center - Newport
330 Heritage Boulevard, Newport, TN 37821
Summit at Harmony Oaks is a residential rehabilitation center known for its southern hospitality, set on more than 100 acres in the Smoky Mountains. With evidence-based approaches, the program helps clients build a strong, lasting base for recovery. Services include supportive treatment for depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, bipolar disorders, co-occurring conditions, and fatigue or burnout. Summit at Harmony Oaks is the most recent addition to the Harmony Recovery Group family of treatment options and can work with many private insurance plans.
Summit at Harmony Oaks provides two main programs: inpatient detoxification for substance use disorders and residential mental health treatment for adults ages 18 and older. Care is designed to create a durable recovery foundation, along with practical coping skills to support stability long after clients leave the campus. The medical team is led by Dr. Jill Thompson, a board-certified addiction medicine physician with more than 20 years of experience. Treatment is tailored through individualized plans that are informed by thorough physical evaluations and continuous monitoring, including ongoing medication management and updated continuing care strategies. Psychoeducation is also a key part of the program, helping clients understand their recovery needs and manage long-term health after discharge.
The mental health program at Summit at Harmony Oaks helps clients take an active role in managing their wellbeing. Participants learn to identify their personal stress triggers and develop ways to handle unexpected, high-intensity situations in everyday life. The client-centered curriculum brings together targeted therapies, wellness and nutrition support, family coordination, and a culture that encourages empowerment within the treatment team. Family therapy and education are offered as well, strengthening relationships and supporting dual diagnosis recovery.
Set against a scenic mountain backdrop, the main home offers a calming, retreat-style environment with a resort-like feel. Clients can take in the sounds of nature, relax in a welcoming gathering space with an indoor fireplace, and enjoy outdoor porches with rocking chairs. There is also an outdoor pool for swimming or lounging. Spacious bedrooms are designed for comfort, and some feature sunrise views over the mountains. The addiction and mental health programs are located separately across the property.
