About Synergy - Women's House

Synergy’s Wentworth House supports women dealing with substance use by helping them develop practical, everyday skills. The center’s main women’s program offers a well-defined, four-stage sober living process, starting with a 10-day Welcome phase and continuing through long-term steps toward independence.

Participants work with an active recovery model that includes 12-Step support, physical activity, yoga, and art-based activities to support healing. The team helps residents strengthen life skills such as budgeting, education and work planning, and case management, so they can gain confidence, consistency, and a sense of belonging.

Women reside in a bright, roomy setting designed for community living, with shared gathering and dining spaces, along with art and computer rooms that promote creativity and self-reliance. Meals are prepared either by the home’s cooks or through catering, and breakfast is frequently made by residents. Synergy also offers drug and alcohol testing across all programs to reinforce accountability throughout recovery.
